I am overweight to...they always say watch what you eat, but in reality the less you eat the more likely you are to gain weight because your body will then retain fat....in my case I have a low hormone level (often the reason in overweight women) and I don't eat except supper when my husband gets home....Instead of white bread or regular pasta try the whole grains, and fresh fruit and vegetables uncooked and not from the can...that alone helped me loose 16lbs without exercising!

The only true way to tell is to get on a scale that measures muscle mass and body fat because it seems pretty dumb to me that my doctor just supposes everyone has the same amount of mucles and gos by your heighth, weight, and age. Like u could see to people that both weigh 180, but one is so much more puffed up because there all fat.and the other one looks normal cause they have muscle.

I'm slightly underweight - 5' 8" and 128.
If you think you are overweight, see your family doctor - he can advise you on what is best for you based on your age, height, weight, and likely future growth.

Uhm that depends on your height too.
I'm 14
5 foot
and 123 lbs.
I think i'm overweight by like 7-23 pounds.
But then again everyone is anorexic.
So I may be average.
