I am not atheists, I am a Christain, but to answer your question, it has already been a proven fact that they get on this site to try to dis-proved us Christains & try to get people to fall away from God, just as the muslims & Islamic beliefs also get on this site to try to convert us to their stupid Ideals. Yes they are motivated by satan. They all are unbelievers now, But in hell, there is no unbelievers, everyone in hell knows that there is a True God & they denied him while they was alive. So you are going to get many kinds of people on this site, I make fun of no one, but I can't help but sometimes to laugh at the stupidity of many answers on this site.

Open forum. Anyone can post in here and they can post whatever they want. I am sure that if there was an "Atheist" section many religious people will be in there posting. What is good for the God-loving is good for the godless. :)
Both sides bash each other. Maybe some of the Atheists (the ones that do not insult) are trying to understand why people believe just like how some of the religious types want to know why atheists don't. It is fair and square.

Should only other religions participate in this category? Atheistism is a religion of sorts.
Most people, in my opinion, are confrontational when they are anomynous or in a crowd. You ask for an answer and you are going to get pros and cons. If you want a forum that only agrees with your opinion then go to church not here.
I'm a bible thumpin presbyterian, baptist, I have given up on religion and realize that beliefs are real and personal. You try to do good and the right thing. Religion has failed. You people have created your hell on earth and no longer listen to GOD, even so you think you hear. "Thou shall not KILL!". Can't you hear this!

If you truely believe there is god then why do YOU come here? just to say you believe in god and agree with everyone else?
The point of these boards are to exchange points of view in an effort to find the answer. I think the problem is you might be afraid that atheists are right, so you would rather not read their posts in case you agree with them.

Atheists don't believe in Satan so that throws your solution out the window. Don't forget there are agnostice people too - that's me and the reason why I ask questions is purely bbecause I haven't made my mind up and just as religious people wonder how I can believe in nothing I wonder how religious people can follow that particular idea.

A) They've got an axe to grind; usually because they were raised in a deficient or destructive religious environment, ie, having to "worship" a god who was a real s.o.b. Be loving toward them
B) They've got a genuine curiosity about God, but are either too proud or too afraid to just come out and ask for answers, so they get wisea$$ instead. Be patient AND honest with them.
C) They're deficient in social skills and like to remind the rest of us that somehow that makes them "smarter". Again, it's pride talking. Be courteous to them.
D) They're sociopaths, psychopaths or just plain evil and given over to Satan's way. Pray for them, but stay away from them.
Hope this helps.

Gee!..I'm an atheist...actually I'm a secular humanist atheist but ...Gee I don't know, why do you think they care?
God doesn't make an atheist care? and Satan is a Christian construct so I guess they don't have much truck with him either.
Maybe you should give it some more thought... then the reason might make itself more obvious to you and you can tell us all about it!

We have the same right to be here as you. Religion affects us too, especially when we live in a country where presidents quote scripture, and the ten commandments are in government buildings.
