I m a devoted muslim who believes in peace and compassion. To ppl who think of me as not being a reader of the Holy Quran, I will say that I know my faith and every verse in the Quran. I have read abt other's faiths (esp. The Bible and Torah) and have also found peace there.
Please stop offending other ppl's religions or faiths, for no religion is abt offending and insulting others. God is kind and merciful and will weigh all our good deeds against our bad deeds. By mercy let all ppl who have had a life on earth, doing good deeds be blessed with their allowance into heaven.
To Christians and Jews, brother monotheists,I wish u the best for God allowing u to enter heaven along with all good muslims. Let God shower his blessings on u.
To Atheists, I mean no offense, I also wish that good atheists should have a good life on earth and live in the hereafter in heaven with god's mercy.
To Muslims, Assalamwalaikum
Peace be upon u all!Spread compassion through this beautiful world!Godbless!

Honestly, i must say ...wow...im proud that there are still humane ppl out there : )
well, i guess its because people have so much thrust n faith in their own religion that they want as much ppl as possible to enjoy the benifitts of their own religion. the urge of wanting evryone else to share the same religion is simply too great. maybe becuz they feel inferior to other religions or simply hav this mentality that they are in the right religion. the diffrence btw the religions, for these ppl. wld seem too great for them to clear their mind n realise that everyone shares a common goal...the search.. the difficuly yet inspiring journey for truth.
Assalamwalaikum
i must say im very prond of u : )

Well said. Islam is a religion of peace that believes in the one God. This is a view that is seldom expressed in the US. When Muslims say this, they are shouted down or ignored.

Most Americans have had little or no general education in the precepts of religions other than Christianity. And, they only believe what they have been told by polarizing preachers, ministers and politicians.

Nonetheless, you must admit that militant extremists are more prevalent in Islam than they were a few years ago. This is certainly the case with Christianity, which abounds with extremists. Many are ready for a type of Crusade. The pious leader of the government has called for a war on Islamic fascism, which to many Americans means a war against Islam.

Because they're not built that way. Religions make claims of absolute truths. They never really prove those truths to be actually true, but that's beside the point. Because they make these claims, they, by implication, make claims of everybody else being absolutely false. This tends to make various such groups upset with each other. If you add to this the claims by many religions of those outside of it being evil, and threatening your vague rewards in "Heaven", you can get quite emotional about others who try to teach differently.

Only the most moderate of the believers will make allowances for those of slightly different beliefs, but they will still support those who have fanatic beliefs. Sam Harris had a lot of good things to say on this topic in his book, "The End of Faith". His book outlines many of the conflicts caused by faith-based belief systems.

Trust me brother, a lot of churches, tamples and mosques will go out of business if such thing took place.
As a Muslim, I would suggest that you pickup the Quran and collections of Hadiths and read them before going to some mullah who is not only spreading hate with the Muslim community and other religion.
Snap out of Iblis' (Satan's) mentallity of "I am better than everyone else" and question others' faith, reason with them and then state your faith to them.
This is an order from God to us.

Because men are egotistical They believe one way (their way) is the only way. I always tell people A Way, The Way that worked for me. My way may not work for everybody so I cant tell any one What the "RIGHT" way is. Men as a whole cant do this. They will disagree to their death bed. We know all. Animals are animals we can kill them they cant kill us! EGO! There is no God who created us, we did it on our own! EGO! There is no such thing as Aliens or other life, we are it! EGO!
