I have tried it for the past 4 yrs. I met one man who was supposed to be seperated. We knew each other for 3 years til I broke it off. I went on dated with other guys. For some reason no matter how recent I put up a new pic they think I look different in person. I will give you this advice.. Don't let them pressure you into sleeping with them. Dont let them tell you bad things about your appearance. I dont like being told I have a fat butt repeatedly. I think if they were all that special, they would be on the internet looking either. Meet them some place public during the day for an hour or two only. Then at the end of time say for coffee or soda. If they ask you out on a second dated then you know they like you and then go from there. Have fun. It is what guys always say they want is a fun girl. Just dont give sex up right away even if you are a guy. Get to know the other person first. Having sex with someone you dont really know might seem cool. Really its not. It just makes you feel repulsed and stupid. Believe me I know. Good Luck. Dont do everything the guy wants to do. Tell him things you want to do. The date should be equal and fun for you both.

I met my husband on Match.com. There are a lot of losers out there....so beware. Then again there are winners that you would have never met any other way. I work at a job that does not allow dating between coworkers (and frankly, I wouldn't want to). I have little time for a social life. Match.com was great and I could do this on my timeline.

Actually yes I have. The first thing to understand is to be able to translate the descriptive terms that are used for body types......
thin = meth user or crack head
slender = slender
athletic = average
average = 20 lbs overweight
a few pounds extra= obese
thick = no waist or hips, a straight line from shoulder to thighs
voluptous= *see a few pounds extra with DDDD cup bra

I met my wife Thur MYSPACE.com. I lived in Alabama she lived in S.Carolina. We spent time on phone and Internet. I drive a truck so I spent a few weekends in Carolina and now here we are. Happy as can be. But beware.... Lots of crazy's out there. My experience? 1 good after 7 loons

Yes, I did in the past, but I haven't been interested in that route lately. However, Internet dating seems to focus too much on sex. If you want a real relationship, go to www.datematch.com.

Yes i have actually, i am actually. Heres the story: I was bored one day and i found this teen chat thing so i clicked on it, and i went on for a while and then went off, 1 month later i was really bored so i went on it again and clicked on guy that had a name of a car. So i was thinking to myself i could talk about cars with him since i like them too. so i started talking to him, omg he was the most kind, charming, gentemen i'd ever met, he was so different then what i was use to. We even talked about xbox. lol. so i gave him my email because i didn't have msn. He emailed me a couple times i wanna say about 15 in the next month or so. then he stopped emailing me, i was so devasted because i had seen a picture of him and i just felt so different with him, i knew he was the man of my dreams but i had to get over him, we werent even together, plus hes from england and im from the usa. So i deleted his email address everything. I so a year or so went by and it was durng my summer break off school. And all of sudden one day otta nowhere i get this email from him, i told him i had a boyfriend and he asked me about him but he could tell i didnt like him and i couldnt get out, he was trying to protect me... So we kept talking as i was trying to get rid of my current boyfriend. I finally did, and we hit it off. He is the man of my dreams the man of my life, we are now boyfriend and girlfriend, and we love eachother so so so much, we would never cheat. about 3 weeks ago i showed him my picture which i was so scared to do, and turns out he thinks im hot n fine, so it all worked out, he even said he loved me before he knew what i looked like. We are passionatly in love, even though we don't see eachother ever day. I talk to him every day for hours on end, Im head over heels in love wit him. So next year in 2007 hes finally coming to visit me for my birthday. Its gonna be the best time of my life, this is the guy i wanna marry, this is the man i love, this is the man i met online but who cares cause love is love, and if ur asking how do i know i love him?? its because our bond is unbreakable and i think about him every moment, he makes me forget stuff im gonna do next, or even foucus in schooling. So i've had a succusful realtionship even though it is online, i dont care what anyone says, we are in love! never cheat, never will. Good luck!!!

Sort of. I married my husband after finding him online. But of course I had already known him for ten years and went to school with him, so it was more like catching up with each other rather than meeting for the first time.
