i would say do not judge our country based on what a few of of us say or do. not every one in American believes the same way. when strikes our taken out own our county not only are you hurting the intended but also the innocent. and GOD is against any one that harms an innocent soul. you say this is a holy war but look deeper into your faith, i have read the Qur'an my self and it speaks more of love and peace then it does war and killing. we worship the same god so isn't that like harming your own people? you can bring more people to god with love then you can by force. may we all unite in the name of GOD,love and peace!

now what would ya ll say? i am posting this in religion be cause this war is based on religion lets show these people we are not all stupid and heartless

I think it is a world wide educational problem that we have not been taught truly to keep the peace. walking threw time and remembering the prejudice remarks from our grandparents not only for nationality but also race and religion. the letter would not solve the bigger problem of that is (as i feel) the true root of all the wars. fearing others because they are different.....race, religion, culture...what needs to be taught is Social Harmony so we can all accept each other and not use prejudice to start wars.

Light and darkness coexist while repelling one another. Each insists they are greater. Yet neither can exist without the other, for if there were no such thing as one the other would have nothing to define it self by.
Likewise, good and evil: who's imagined goal is to conquer for it's own cause. But victory would only serve to destroy both (if it were even possible).
The question isn't who or what is evil or good but rather, where the war should be waged. It can only be successfully waged and conquered properly, inside one room at a time, by the controller of the light switch for that room. Each man and woman on this earth can only control what is inside themselves. To step outside themselves and try and rule the light or darkness (good and evil) will never, never, never work anything but their own destruction (in this life or the one to come). What a tragic waste for any mans cause, that his voice is never heard again. Whether he's dead or disrespected for his actions, the same loss takes place. Truth is truth without our help, belief, or agreement. War waged, only causes truth to be farther away from being accepted and believed. Revenge for truth? Truth doesn't need revenge it's already won before time started. Any revenge only magnifies the lie that we believe; and shows our cause to be so weak it cannot stand as truth on it's own.

There is no way to get them to see that we are not the enemy, as the Abraham-based religions "truly believe" that everyone else is the enemy but themselves.

I was studying the Islam religious rituals the other day and when Muslims go to Mecca they reenact Hagar frantically searching for water for her son in the desert when Abraham sent them away.....I know if I did this ritual, I would be pissed off at Abraham
and Isaac (Jews) today for making Hagar and Ishmael leave their house.....That happened about 5,000 years ago.....Religion keeps the hostility fresh between Muslims and Jews...

Then, the terrorists hate the Christians and the reason that they do is that Christians think that they are the only ones saved yet they live however they want to....Saved by grace, so I can "live it up" mentality.....And the terrorists perceive that as absolutely horrific.

IF is the big question. Problem is there is nothing you could say to them that would change their mind. You could, however, make them go out damn mad by telling them their religion is a lie and all they are going to get when they die is a dirt nap. If you thought that the previous might not be enough you could add that Mo wasn't a prophet he was a psychopathic sexual predator who was also one hell of a con man. You could also throw in Mo was a pathological liar.

For the weaapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and therories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [truth] knowledge of God; and we leand every thought and purpose away captive unto thte obedience of Christ ( the Messiah, the Anointed One).
2 Corinthians 10:4,5

We are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirit who] hate the world ruler of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in Heavenly supernatural sphere.
Ephesians 6:12

From these scriptures we see that we are in a war. Informs us that our warfare is not with other human beings but with the devil and his demons. Our enemy satan attempts to defeat us with strategy and deceit, though well-laid plans and delibererate deception. The devil is the father of lies and all that is false (John 8:44) He tells us things about ourselves, about other people and about circumstances that are just not true.

...If you abide in My word, you are truly My desciples. And you will know the Truth, and the trutht will set you free. John 8:31,32. Here Jesus tells us how we are to win the victory over the lies of Satan. We all must knowledge God's truth in us, renewing our minds with His Word.

Let us love one another; for love is of God: and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1 John 4:7.

How long do you waants this letter to be?

I doubt that terrorists hang around Yahoo Answers, but to answer your question ....

I would say "your methods are ineffectual, please attend to world history and see that in the past, if you attack the US, they strike back with overwhelming forces, take you over and build a McDonald's. You cause tremendous pain, not to anyone with the power to change things, but the ordinary person. If you knew anything about us is that those in charge care nothing for the pains of the ordinary person, so you are attacking the wrong people. Stop. Please"

Didn't read all your question, too long. Sorry. But I would write a letter to Bush and tell him that his terrorism is wrong no matter what way you look at it and the tragic part is we're all going to make for his wrong decisions, all of us, including the innocent.
Do you really think he will read this??

i would tell them that what they are doing is not done in Gods name .That the Quran says religion is not a complusion. That their behavior goes against everything I have ever read in the book. Also when the angel who keeps the book of life opens it to their deeds, surely God will tell them he never asked them to kill in his name.Revenge is mine says the Lord.....
