I need a new teapot, something nice that will last me many years and that wont rust or fall apart on me.

I bought one that has a copper bottom. It's great! I bought it at linnens n' things. I don't know if they have those where you are from. But it has held up very well.

It's not rocket science. Tea Pots have been around longer than oil lamps. If you buy any Tea Pot other than the cheapest it should be able to function perfectly well for the duration of your tea drinking needs. If you're really worried about it or if you put undue wear and tear on your tea pot you could buy a Tea Pot made by a cookware company, generally they use better steel and are designed by people who have more knowledge of heat dynamic than companies that make artistically designed pots
