I think after when they saw or heard about Islam ,after when they see he critics about Islam , they try to learn about it, about its scriptures, which they find totally different and opposite of what media is showing to anit- islamist are doing.

True , that is what happened to me. I knew a nice group of Muslims and after 9/11 I researshed the deen and alhamdu lillah took shahada 4 years later.
I have met so many other Americans wh have done the same thing.
Allah(SWT) guides whom he wills and leads astray whom he wills.

It is sad that Islam had to be exposed through a tragedy (9/11) when itself is the religion of "peace"
I am glad more people started joining Islam, yet, I am down on the fact that the spreading of Islam was not done through Muslims setting examples to others
The sources of media are enormous those days, and the Islamic countries do have enough money to expose themselves to the rest of the world, yet, they choose to spend this money on un-islamic facilities with the main aim of bringing in more money
If a tragedy such as 9/11 (which is not even 1% of the tragedies the Muslims had to go through) was able to grow the awareness of Islam, imagine wat developed islamic nations (if they develop) can do.
Some 1000 years ago, when the Chruch was in control, scientific growth and development were not allowed since they were considered to be against "Christian" teachings, however, at that time Islam was encouraging people to go deeper into the fields of science and discover and invent more things to help humanity. I am not dissing Christianity, I am simply focusing on the idea that religion should go hand-in-hand with scientific development (the way the Christians see it today while many Muslims choose not to)
Islam is a lifestyle. It is not simply a religion that is practiced through the walls of the mosque or near the Kabbah to ask God to help us out of our miseries. What Islam offers to the world is the lifestyle God wants us to follow in this life to be granted Heaven in the after-life (inshalla). It is not like studying at school to get a degree (we study for some time, we stress for some time, and then we go out 2 "relief" ourselves), there is no time where we take a break from practicing Islam because even as we are sleeping we practice Islam. It might sound overwhelming to some, and I do not blame them, they do need to reach that state of peace to understand what I am saying
I know I went off-topic, I just wanted to point out a couple of things about Islam

For all you block-headed people out there, don't start hating and condemning Islam without knowing what it is first. As for you people that say that Christianity is the only way and through Jesus' sins and all that weird stuff... well, if you would be more open and listen to others, or at least try to prove your point, I'd be more content... read If I Should Speak by Umm Zakiyyah. I don't agree with all she says, but much of it is correct in my views.
The media is made up of a bunch of big liars that have dedicated their lives to telling lies to the general public, and making Islam look terroristic and warlike.

Ok man, if it makes you happy then cheer up. but I tell you, you people only look your own and praise your self. Find out millions of people accepting Christianity but you are not informed.
Go to some healing crusade near you you will find more Muslim people than those of Christianity.
Christianity is the truth is the only truth. Truth have been leading the world, is leading the world and will lead the world for ever and ever.
I know more than an average Muslim about Islam. Have the courage to explore Christianity. Then you will realize where the truth is.
