Why? You mention Jesus and everyone will listen. Why not atheist? Because theres nothing there to believe in, wheres the faith? wheres the passion? Our lives are just a drop in time, there is a before and after and I believe in it. God and Jesus and Mary never let me down, they dont always give me what I want. And if you question all the suffering in the world, who causes it? We do. We have the means to feed every living soul, do we? No. For some people all they have is thier faith, why question it? Why take it away? Does it do some great satisfaction to take away someones only hope..Jesus? I ask you...why?

In this forum, I mostly talk about those who talk about Jesus. The only reason I care to answer this topic at all is because I think the world would be better off without such superstitions.

Actually there is a quote by a famous scientist who discovered evolution that Christians keep repeating. And the funny thing is that it's a lie. It's the one where Darwin recanted on his deathbed and the woman who claimed he recanted wasn't even near him, in the same house or town, when it was supposedly said. And his son, who was sitting next to him when he passed, refuted her claim.
You are right, but that may have a lot to do with the fact that there is so much that the Christians have said. There is a lot to quote.

Even after all these years Jesus is talked about because He gave His life on the cross for our sins! He thought of me....and YOU as he was hanging there to die....a living sacrifice for us! We are here on this earth to bring praise to our Heavenly Father....Jesus made a way for us to be with our Father even though we aren't in heaven. When you believe and baptized you are given the gift of the Holy Spirit (God living in you)....to comfort you....to direct your paths, and to lead you home.

So are Buddha, Lao tzu, Mohamed, Zoroaster and countless lesser known holy men. I don't believe atheists ever made any quotes other than they don't believe! So instead of trying so hard to prove them wrong, why not leave them alone to believe as they choose which is their "God: given right (free will and all that) and quit judging them. After all it was Christ who said to "judge not lest ye be judged". Or don't you believe in what you preach?
