Why does the media show such negative stuff about islam and muslims.What's the policy behind this?I very well

The jewish and cristians are so scared of muslims and Islam being speraded cuz it's the religon which support all the Rights of man,women and children (and all living beings)in all aspects.I see discovery channels mastermind killers and rapists documentaries and all of them happen to be non muslims.Ok fine you guys kill our dad's and bros infront of our very eyes,burn our houses down rape us,attack afghanistan,palasteine and whatever place you desire(for the sake of oil and stuff) take everything we possess from us and yet u dont want us to fight back???? U never turn ure other cheek??we dont chose to be a victom...we'll fighht back if u do unfair things to us.If a 50 year old muslim man marries a 16 year old girl...it's a news flash and if a 50 year old nonmuslim man RAPES a 10 year old girl....u guys r very much okay about it...that's double standard.U guys are HYPOCRITES.The person who did bombings in London in 7/7 was not a muslim but why this all negative propoganda.Where were all jews on 9/11....they did not show at work on world trade centre...I guess that explains u all.Snap out of ure deep slumber and have the gutts and courage to face the real facts.Do some research cuz u all look like fools wen say fairy tale stuff.

As sad as it is, the media dwells on negativity. 20 good things can happen and 1 bad thing, the news will rotate around the 1 bad thing. Look at New Orleans for example. They only showed the poor black community in trouble. Well the rich white people had the same issues but we never saw that part. Media tells you a story only how the want you to hear it. Think about it... are you more likely to stop and look at a man helping an old person cross the busy street.. or a train wreak with death and injury?

Simply the phenomenal spread and growing of Islam and being the fastest growing religion far a head others is worrying the Christian west and others and they want to use every possible mean to distort and attack Islam so they can stop or at least slow it down but they don't know and don't want to or understand that this is the will of Allah who promised his prophet Mohammad that Islam will spread all over the world before the last day what ever people like it or dislike it.

Dude, there isn't another religious grouping of people in human history who merrily lop off heads and take great pride and pleasure in televising it. That is an inhumane act and being the sunburned morons they are, the Mullahs actually think it helps their cause.
They are inviting a clash of civilisations they hope they can win through sheer numbers but little do they realise that the Americans are the Christian Vanguard and also the ONLY people in history to actually use Nuclear weapons (that too for far less reason/ provocation).

What exactly do you expect to be shown?

Muslim society (Western Muslims excluded) is very secretive. If you listen to Muslim propaganda you'd think that there is no child abuse, wife abuse, depression, killings etc., going on. Intelligent people know better and these things DO happen in all communities.

Where as Western Muslims can't hide behind the secretive cloak.

Again, what positive aspect of the Muslim community whould you like shown?

There is nothing positive about a woman being stoned for being a victim of rape.

There is nothing positive about a woman being hanged for adultery. There is nothing positive about Sudanese being enslaved for non conversion to Islam.

There is nothing positive about child slavery running through the UAE.

There is nothing postive about the beheading of Muslim gays in Saudia Arabia.

What positivity do you want shown? We'd like to see something positive too.

I don't think the media is biased *against* Islam or muslims. There are many news items on the subject that MSM doesn't cover and should. If anything they tend to down play the subject.

Haven't you noticed? They run practically all negative stuff about ANY faith. My husband thought of something that might explain this...there is a verse in the Bible that says, "Satan is the Prince of the air."

So it's no big stretch to imagine he is probably the "Prince of the airwaves" too.

do you mean screaming groups of people rioting over cartoons or dancing in the streets after 9/11 or beating their heads w/ swords until they are covered in blood or flogging/hand-chopping/beheading or chanting hordes burning flags or hostages getting their heads sawn off or suicide-bomb victims or foiled bomb plots or what?

yeah, they should show more of the GOOD stuff...

Well its not like they are running pro christian stuff either. They don't talk about Christians. But I would think they cover the muslims, because I don't recall Christian extremeists lately blowing up buildings and killing people in the name of Jesus...
