I would tell them, however are you prepared to possibly jeopordise your future friendship either because they dont feel the same in which case there will undoubtly be some tension or if things dont work out as you expect as a result of this you could lose a precious friendship.... its a tricky one but only you know your currnt relationship with the friend in question... im not being pessimistic by the way, im just telling you as it is

wether it's a person of the same sex or not you are walking a fine line down a razor sharp blade. if you say something you run the risk of not having the feelings returned but at then you may miss out on finding that one person that was meant for you. you also run the risk of having them take advantage of you because of your feelings. some of the strongest relationships have been forged because they started off as friendships first but some friendships have ended becasue one person felt something for the other and the feelings weren't returned. you have to weigh the pros and cons of it all. and if when the time is right you'll know how to go about making your feelings known. there's nothing more cruel then love that is given but not returned in the same fashion.

Presumably they are the opposite sex? Just stay mates for a little while, try and see if they fancy you too.. and you never know what will happen...Don't rush it r you may spoil a good friendship. If its going to happen then it will...Good luck!

if i fancied 1 of my m8's i would tell them .
if they didn't feel the same way i would still hang out with em after all its better to have them as a m8 than to never have them at all

Try to find out how they feel about you. Be careful though, you dont want to lose a friend if it gets awkward

get another friend to find out if they like you, if they do then tell them. if you can't find out then dont tell them unless its worth the risk of you guys not being as close friends as before.
