If you have ever went on the Yahoo Avatar's message board you will soon learn that most of the people on there are lil girls and boys....litterally....I went on there one time & almost "e-mail scrapped it out" with a 10 yr old..COME ON!! I think the creators cater to the audience that they know utilizes it the most!! Hence...Frick'n ponytails!

I have no idea, I don´t know anybody over the age of 8 who wears pigtails.

lol idk maybe they just like they way they look, it doesnt mean what they have on the avatar means what they look like in real life, or even wat they want people to think they are perasuing.
