do you think it looks a bit poofty for a young straight guy to have a pony tail. Im wearing it like that now, but darent go out with it like this

Guys do not look good in long hair let alone a pony tail. My suggestion is to cut it. Will keep you looking young and people will look at you as a respectable person (not saying those with long hair is not respectable).

Its not poofty depending on the type of pony tail - just dont wear it high and you'll be fine. Guys with long hair are sexy and I love running my fingers through it. But I like short too - go with the flow and do what you feel!

Personally I hate guys with long hair and it looks even more 'poofty' with it tied back into a pony tail. If I were you, I'd get it cut short.

C'mon, mate, if your conduct not poofy why care? You should be comfy with yrself its all you need do. Just see that you don't look like a beggar or hippie.
its true tho most women like lads sho shave and cut their hair but with some blokes long hair more becoming. See for yrself. If it goes with you, keep it. Pony tail or let down, you can experiment. Will have more options for looking different

Even women don't look good with a pony-tail. Let your hair down, and if it's in good condition it will look good long or short. Do what makes you happy.

Do whatever feels most comfortable for you. I know a guy who had long, curly hair and I thought it looked good and then he got it cut short and it didn't look as good. If you want to cut it, though, go right ahead. Some guys look better with long hair, and some look better with short. It depends on what your face looks like. Personally, I like a ponytail on a guy, as long his hair is clean. That's just me. Do whatever you think looks best. Good luck!

If it looks good when you look in the mirror, keep a pony tail. Personally, I think pony tails look good on guys when they keep them tidy.

Depends on how long it is. My boyfriend has it shoulder length... and he has curly hair, so i was a quite sceptic about his hair. But then i saw him all dressed up with his hair pulled back in a ponytail and i said "i regret what i was thinking that probably he should cut his hair". He looks very sexy!
If you have straight hair it must be easier, again don't leave it too long, and i think that wouldn't be too nice.

well, if you feel insecure you should get it cut, it's all up to you you know, if you feel good with your pony tail, leave it. It's your head, your body, not that of some one else, and if you take care of yourself, who is there to give comment on that?
