you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.
Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Good luck and stick at it.

That is individual. In the last year I lost 25 kg by a combination of cardio running,(slow and long trips. We began by 3 minutes running, 2 minutes walking) and now we do 1 hour 20 minutes easy without break :-)
Then I left out things like white bread, fat, chips chocolade (exept the with high cacao percentage 80 and higher) and anything with high energy. I am eating a lot of chicken meet and fish (no other meet allowed in my menu :-) ) tons of vegetables and fruits. And I dring 3 - 4 liters of water (no sweet stuff lemonades, just regular spring water)
But now I am also taking to all this countermeasures also pils named Reductil, and my weight begins to get to my ideal (125 kg a year ago, now 98 kg and decreasing :-) )
So good luck and hopefully U can make it! Needed ingrediences of success are strong belief in what you do, confidence in that U will make it and tons of patience :-)))))))

All it takes is four little words to lose weight. It is guaranteed to work, without fail, and is perfectly safe and healthy. They are, "Move more, Eat less."
Or to put it another way, "Diet and Exercise." There are no shortcuts.
And, just a thought from my very Jewish chiropractor.... "No fat people went to the gas chambers in Germany. If you truly eat less, you will lose weight."

I'm having pretty good luck with a low carb diet. At it's simplest level, you avoid sugar and carbs (i.e. bread, pasta, fried food) and stick to fresh whole food. Overall, I think it is a healthier diet.
I think the South Beach version is much easier to do than the Atkins. It's a bit slower results wis, but it has more 'balance' between the foods that are good for you and the foods you WANT. And as a result, for me anyway less cheating.

Exercise is key, if its not working you need to push your harder. The more intence the work out the more effect it will have on you... You could go to the gym for 40 minutes a day and just doodle around with maybe 5 or 10 pounds lost and a period of time....

Cardio exercises and weight training. Cardio burns fats. You can do jogging or simply brisk walking. Then you should do weight lifting to continue burning away the fats. You should eat lots of proteins and vegetables/fruits. No fats please..Control your portion.
