Hey
I am going out tonight and want some tips on hair curling, i have curling tongs but im not sure exactly how to use them to produce a nice curl. Also I have the largest Ghd straighteners, I heard you can do curls with them, how? Ive tried but can't do it!

Thanks

Take a section of hair, comb through, spritz lightly with hairspray, clip the bottom of hair in between Ghds and twist / roll straighteners upwards - (like you would twist spagetti on a fork) when you get to the top of the hair (ie - your head!) hold it there for a moment, then pull straighteners out, and voila - a perfect curl.....now repeat all over the rest of your head ! (May take some time depending on thickness and length of hair)

You can use straightners to do curls, but its a bit of an art and I wouldn't recommend it for tonight. Not sure how long ur hair is or how curly you want it, but u should take a section of hair about an inch or two wide and not too thick and spray with gel spray. Get ur tongs at the bottom of the hair and push the thumb bit so they open and take hold of the bottom bit of hair and start winding round till u get 2 the top. Hold it for about 30 secs - a minute (u can feel the hair getting hot). carefully uncurl. If you want ringlet style curls you can leave them untouched, but if you want more natural curls comb through with a wide toothed comb. Godd luck and have a good night

I dont no if you can curl with the large plated ghds if thats what you have. You can with the standard ones.If you use curling tongs you need to make sure you apply hair spray to each section that you curl so that it stays in.Just take your time and make sure you wrap the tongs right round to the end of the hair or you will end up with a straight end.x

wash n condition your hair...use either gel or mouse and dry. use a comb and section your hair across the back from ear to ear (at the bottom of the lobe) take sections of about two centimetres into the tongs and curl... place in the tongs from the tip of your hair and roll up the hair, then take your hair in sections after that until all hair is done. use a hair spray as you go along and at the end to keep the curls in for as long as possible.

I would use the curling tongs and wrap ur hair around the curling tongs like a spiral almost i use "Loreal paris Hot Curl" spray when i curl my hair and it makes the curls clossy and hold all night.

I completely misread the question as "Quick Help!!! Any call girls out there?!" and was intrigued.

As a guy I'm in no way qualified to help, but would like to offer the opinion that I think subtle curls on a girl are very attractive.

I wish you the best of luck in curling your hair.

Give up with them...go get yourself some Nikki Clark heated hair rods, they are the ultimate at curling your hair. When I use mine I twist the section of hair round and round until its tight THEN I twist it onto the rod as directed, once the whole head is done, you are free to get changed do ya make up etc, then last minute take the rods out and style how ya want it...works EVERY time and lasts all night, they are Brilliant Honey, you couldn't do better with anything else.

invest in some bendy rollers, these work much better and the curl stays in longer to, when you have washed your hair comb through a golf ball size of mousse whilst wet then section your hair and use the bendy rollers, leave to dry naturally then when you take them out use your fingers to seperate the curls. Dont forget to spritz with a little hair spray so they hold! hope this helps!

You open the tongs, take a piece of your hair and round it in circular movements on the tong, leave it a few seconds then you remove and then you repeat the process to the rest of the hair.

Nip out to the chemist and get yourself some Velcro rollers. They are brilliant for curling and so easy to use. You can keep them in all day, just cover them whilst you shower. Oh yes, don't curl clean hair, if you've washed it first it wont hold so well.

Hope you have a great evening!
