Dont worry. It is a spoof. Just read Michael Crichton's State of Fear.

Global Warming has the potential to be a big problem in the future. Ypu can take steps to prevent it by buying more energy-efficent appliences, using cold water to wash clothes, keep your water heater temperature at 120 degrees (farenheit) 48.89 (celcius), walk or ride your bike. These alone can reduce CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions by the thousands of tons per year.
However, I believe it is too early to say that this is not a new thing. Between 1000 and 1400 AD, The Medieval Warming period took place, and it was recorded that the earth appeared to get warmer and warmer, but then cooled back down. It is unreasonable to state that the earth is warmer now than it was then because there was no accurate way to measure temperature until 200 years later. Plus the Arctic Ice Caps may be melting, but scientists have been observing the GROWING West Ancartic Ice Sheet for the past 30 years. Bottom line: It is best to take steps to prevent Greenhouse Gas Emissions, but remember that if it does indeed happen years from now because no one took steps to prevent it in the past, it will affect the entire international community.

Global warming is accepted as a real phenomenon by >99% of scientists in the field. Politicians and business people (polluters) dispute the facts. Whom do you think is more reliable?

There's lots of data showing this, including direct temperature measurement, shrinking of the polar ice caps. The link below is from the National Academy of Sciences (most accomplished scientists in the US).

We all are. Because the atmosphere is polluted it gets harder for the sun rays to bounce back off the earth and they stay in the atmosphere. From now on every summer will get hotter and every winter will be colder. It also affects the icebergs because of the big hole in the atmosphere on the poles they are melting and the seas level will rise and more of the land on the continent will be covered in water. Im sure youve noticed its been really hot this summer, in Europe there have been several heat waves because of it

i believe the surface temp. of mars is also warming up to the same extent as earth. it would make me think the sun is producing more radiant heat. there are fossils on the mountains in the Antarctic. warming and cooling of the earth must be cyclical. we will all be affected by global warming but i don't know if anything can be done to stop it.

There is no global warming...don't forget the liberals you invented this to attack industry was saying in the 1970's that we were going into an ice-age...they can't make up their minds

It is a VERY big deal that affects all of us and certainly our children. I suggest that you see Al Gore's movie, An Inconvenient Truth. The evidence is indisputable and very frightening. http://www.climatecrisis.net/
