Older; they have life experience that they can share with you. Older people are interesting. They can share things that are unique to their age. Plus, they are probably more mature, respectful, responsible, and attentive than someone younger that hasn't learned from previous mistakes yet. And, odds are an older person will make more money which gives them a certain freedom to go places and do things with you that a younger person couldn't.

I prefer someone older just because of the maturity level. There's always exceptions to every case but the majority of the time younger guys are too immature for me.
