It's time for the islamic reformation to begin?

Christianity and judaism has gone through the process of reformation and come out as secular humane ideologies. Dont you think it's time muslims do the same? Islam needs to be reformed , because no thinking person let alone a muslim in this day and age will accept a prophet who slept with a 9 year old girl, and murdered lots of innocent people, nor can they accept a God who offers muslim men virgins as booty, and who wants to turn the entire world in to islam by force.
Dont you think that the time has come for muslims to reform islam and introduce it as a very secular faith freed from all tribal laws and customs which has no place in our modern world?

Religions without reforms will tend to be superstitious. That is how 600 years after Christianity was preached the Holy Prophet came out with a reformed version in the Semitic groups. After 1400 years of the Quran and its strict implementation, now there is need for reform so that its adherents can survive within its fold; otherwise we may perish along with the out dated faith with full of intolerance and violence glorified.

For survival of the Muslims against onslaught by the Jews and the Christians, Islam has to have a reformist though the Quran strictly prohibits any change to what the Prophet has said. But by modern interpretation, it can be modernized to suit the changes over last 1400 years. If the Mullahs and the Maulavis do not concede for necessary reform, we may en mass get converted to Hinduism and continue to worship Allah as the only God, which I understand is the theme of the Upanishads.

You are absolutely right, it is high time that Islam has to reform to suit the changed circumstances of the mankind. It has to be rescued from the pre-medieval taboos which was relevant to a particular time and society. But now, with more than 1.2 billion population born to Muslim parents, who have to co-exist peacefully with others in the society having their distinct faith like Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism; Islam can not any longer continue to divide the mankind into Dar-Ul-Islam and Dar-Ul-Harb.

Islam is radical Judaism, that is, radical legalism. The only way that it can reform is to become a true system of faith without all of the rules and regulations that no human being can adhere to. It must abandon this idea of salvation by works. Essentially, this means that it must become Christian---salvation by faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ at the cross. Is Islam ready for this? Judaism must also undergo the same transformation. Are the Jews ready for this?
