well im the product of one, and it is just fine. there is obviously a mutual attraction between people. the success depends on the two individuals involved.adapting is about acceptace and understanding. the children are fine as long as the parents are not idiots.

If be interracial you mean across different races (like italians, english, chinese etc.), my family has many - myself i am part irish settler australian, noble french, scottish (mainly this) and Italian/Austrian (long story).
1)They take place because the couple love each other (isn't this a no brainer?)
2)All marraiges in my family were 100% successful (no remarraiges)
3)They adapt by accepting they are different, and living with it (you learn each others culture and appreciate it rather than become hostile to it)
4)The kids, like any other family cope depending on the parents.
