Actually, I think maybe you need to read these articles and actually visit these sites. You are showing your ignorance and your resistance to hear anything other than your opinion. STATISTICS SHOW! that retreivers and spaniels bite more often! STATISTICS! Please do your home work before posting. Please take a moment and look at the sites, before going "all spaniel" on me. A.C.O. you say...did you ever notice that people don't call about labs running free, or that most dogs of any medium breed "resembles a pit type" dog...PLEASE DO YOUR HOME WORK! Thank you!

I think your work is very commendable. However, most people only like pitbulls because of their reputation as fighting dogs. As long as this reputation precedes them people will always abuse them and train them to be vicious. I think they are beautiful animals, however, most people are neither responsible nor mature enough to handle them. Therefore, it would probably be in the best interest of the pitbull and Americans that ownership of these dogs be banner or more heavily regulated. Peace and God bless.

Every dog has the propensity to bite..but some are less certain than others...with a pit bull..C'mon..what are the odds...alot greater than that of a Lab or Collie breed...You can further the cause and defend these animals all you want but in the scheme of things is it wise or even worthwhile to purvey something to an advantage just because you are a fan. Don't defend these animals..look at the statistics. Having had previous employment in animal control field...these basdardized versions of man's best friends should be irradicated off the planet. Most are too stupid to be trained and way to unpredictable. Why don't you pursue a cause greater if you are an animal lover...maybe train and dispatch rescue dogs or therapy dogs...I guarentee though pit bull wouldn't fit either one of those catagories. Sorry to be so harsh...your dog has probably been trained to be gentler and nobler than most...it is too bad that most people are not as responsible as you are...Love in Christ, ~J~ <><
