Try not to eat anything 2-3 hours before going to bed and NO caffine.. If that doesnt work try some Unisom or a sleeping aid from the drugstores. I have been thru all of that and the PM pills no longer works on me. My doctor has prescribed Lunesta. It really works and i get a full nights rest and wake up refreshed the next morning.
Hope that helps??

Please discuss this problem with your doctor. The solution may be as simple as adjusting your schedule to better accomodate your sleep time, or changing your sleep habits. However, you could be suffering from a sleep disorder. Your doctor can refer you to a sleep specialist who can evaluate your problem and possibly set you up for a Polysomnogram, or Sleep Study, which would likely uncover the cause of your sleep issues. Sleep disorders get worse with time, so the sooner you take care of this the better. For more info log on to the National Sleep Foundation website, www.sleepfoundation.org. Good luck!

You are making two mistakes:

1. working out before you go to bed
2. eating a few hours before you go to bed

Try to eat a little earlier, and save working out for the morning. You are staying up late mostly out of habit, it seems like...you LIKE to stay up, so you do. What you need to do is force yourself into a routine. Go to bed at a reasonable hour, and train yourself to follow this routine. I used to have the same problem. I hated going to sleep, and thought I didn't need that much anyway. I would stay up until 3 a.m, and get up for class at 8 a.m, and I always felt irritable, and couldn't concentrate. I couldn't focus on my classes, and stayed up to try and catch up..it's a terrible cycle. You're young! You won't run out of time to do fun things in life. Help your body get ready for bed by eliminating the nightly food and exercise habit. Then. think of relaxing ways to unwind and sleep:). You can listen to music, practice deep breathing etc.

Before you know it, you'll realize that sleep is not a waste of time.

It sounds like you're having trouble to calm down your mind. Maybe you can try to do some relaxations exercises. I'm really opposed to sleeping medication because you can get hooked on them. Relaxation exercises or breathing exercises can help you calm your mind and help you to fall asleep. You really need more sleep than only once every 45 hours. Good luck.

i do no longer understand if it somewhat is insomnia, yet i heard that a loss of a balanced nutrition plan and workout might reason sleep issues. of direction, i think of the main situation is stress. i circulate to sleep conventional by using questioning approximately something chuffed or something i'm excited for, and verify out to place annoying ideas outta my ideas.

that can become a problem, you just need tostop thinking that you have better things to do than sleep. the body needs to rest. its unhealthy for your brain to be constantly going, it can make you age faster too. the whole point of sleep is for your body to reset. your brain needs to sort through stuff too.
