It can be answered in 2 ways: -
(1) If I am alive after the treatment
In this case probably my treatment was only possible with a poison and he did a right thing. Most of the medicines (especially life saving) are diluted poisons and you must have seen a red colored "poison" written on them.

(2) If I am dead after the treatment
In this case my belief on doctor does not count as I am already dead. :)

If I knew the doctor were giving me something that would poison me, I wouldn't believe he could cure me. I'd have to be quite desperate.
