Why would a boy want to choke a poor defenseless chicken, I'm sure the chicken would rather not be choked. But boys do it anyway. Do they get off on choking chickens, isn't that cruelty to animals?

But no, boys choking those poor defenceless chickens is their way of relieving stress until they can get something cuter to pet.

Not all boys are cruel. If the boy chokes chickens to kill them to
eat it is ok.
If you think the boy is being unduly cruel you should bring it to
the attention of an adult. He may need counseling, there may be something wrong in his life. It may be a cry for help. He could be
abused by someone.
There is usually a reason for these things.
