They are scared of what others think, honesty sucks I know. I dated a guy in a wheel chair for 6 months including prom! it was great! Me and him had a blast together, you just need to find a girl that doesn't have her head up her as s that's all!! You aren't doing anything wrong, people are just immature and unethical and look to much at the outside and not enough at the inside. My rule is everybody gets the chance, if you have the courage to come up to me and talk to me about anything and you ask me out you will get my number and at least 1 date unless obviously I'm with someone already then no. But everyone gets a chance in my book!!!

except bums!!! lol you know what i mean dirty people that the only thing I don't give a chance!

When most people see someone in a wheel chair they see a handicapped person, and not the person in the wheel chair. I had a very close friend who was in a wheel chair from the time he was 16, his biggest wish was that people would treat him like he was just another person, not someone in a wheel chair. Ever since then I have tried to ignore the handicap of the individual and just treat them like I would any other fellow human being. There is someone out there for everyone and I am sure you meet the right woman.

might it be that you see yourself as the guy in the wheelchair?
from what i seen, women look at the man......i'm sure the chair is not for every women, but then again......being to short, to tall, to ugly, to hairy....etc. is not for all women.
might just be you?
i see a hundred other men asking the same thing and they don't mention a wheelchair.
she's out there.....it took me about 100 girlfriends, a 14 year marriage to find mine.
i turned around at work one day and there she was..........without a doubt in my mind.
up until that moment i sounded like you..
goodluck!!

people r afraid of what they don't understand. ignorance can be dangerous. my daughter started dating a guy in a chair and at first her friends didn't know what to say (not that she cared) now they know him and some of her friends have tried to steel him. they gave me my first grandson. i am so proud of her to look beyond the chair to see the real him. trust me there is one for you. i honestly don't think they r turned off, they just don't know how to approach and talk to u. if ur shy it will make it harder.

you aren't doing a thing wrong - but many people go by appearence and don't have inner strength to handle someone in a wheelchair - i have no idea how long it will take you.

May be they dont know how capable you are why not show them a little bit of whom you are...................

so that they will come to realise that the capability of a guy does not depend on his physical appearance but on what he has inside of him!!

goodluck!!
