I'm not looking forward to them going back, it means that I won't get to see my grandson as much, I have looked after him on and off for weeks at a time throughout these summer holidays so that his mum can rest , being heavily pregnant she has needed the break. He makes me laugh so much, my son informed me that when summer holidays were over his feet never touched the ground on his way to school I didn't know how fast to get him and his brother through those school gates. LOL

Certainly not me.

At the moment takes me a whole 8 minutes to drive to work. During term time it can take anything up to half an hour!

Mine is grown and gone now, but in the olden days, the first day of school was a national holiday in my house. My best friend and I would spend the day shopping, go to lunch, drink our lunch, and celebrate surviving the summer.

My son graduated from high school last May, and I'm actually looking forward to him NOT going to school. He hated his last couple years of high school and I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that!
