I have not cancelled his name from the school just so that he can continues later on. I am a single mum and i have heard that there is such thing or place as Army Boys for the youths that has drop out from school. It is like a pre-enlistment for the National Service. I do not know where to go to find out for more information on this. If there is such place, I would like to register my son for it. From what I know, it also serves as National Service, althoug the period is longer (5 years including the actual period of NS which is 2.5 years). I would like to save my son from getting into trouble and also I believe he needs to be decipline. Please help me.

All able-bodied males who are Singapore citizens, have to attend National Service when they turn 18. It's compulsory by the government and punishable by law if they don't go. There are ways to defer and start later.
