family functions are better without the booze, peopla aren't alwasy ont their best behavior anyway, add booze and you have a bunch of idiots

A few weeks ago my family and I had a nice gathering. My husband and his mother rented a margarita machine. One side was alcoholic and the other side was non-alcoholic. We made sure that a responsible adult constantly monitored the machine. To my surprise everyone seemed to prefer the non-alcoholic side

Simple case of no alcohol at my house. If they can not show up without drinking, maybe their problem is worse than yours
anyone who cannot refrain from drinking long enough to have a family get together probably has a problem with alcohol
