you must first get an immigrant visa, become a permanent resident for 5 years, then your can apply for citizenship, the whole thing can take 8 or more years, maybe less depending on the permanent residency part.... its not hard, just long and a lot of money but you must be qualified....

not as easily as many describe it first you need to establish residency (green card) unless you are a rocket scientist or posses exceptional skills to obtain the green card you will need a family member to sponsor you, after 5 long years of residency and keeping a clean criminal record you can enjoy the benefits of my beloved country,On the other hand if you marry for the sole purpose of entering the USA think twice the Dept of Homeland security and in Consular officers are no dummies many posses The 7 th sense and will afford you great heartaches, should you fool them(unlikely) you will have to share the conjugal bed for the duration till you get naturalized.. good luck

You must have a visa to emigrate here and gain resident status. After, say, maybe 8 years, you are elgible to apply for citizenship. Consult your local American consulate.

yes, it is, it is why they have over 20 millions of illegal immigrants...becaue it is easier to be illegal and work on the black market than to try to get a green card, and pay these idiots for paparwork and with no guaranty...
people can not wait to feed their family...so come to the USA as a tourist, then work illegaly like most of us...
