I am planning on shooting grouse, rabbit, and bullfrog. What size and material shot would be best?

Use steel shot not glass. Eat what you kill, dont waste anything. Check your state laws at you DNR or Game and Fish website. You can get fined pretty heavily if breaking any of the rules. Hunting rabbits and game birds such as grouse or pheasants can get a lot of people mad if you leave them lay. People will turn you in as a poacher in seen doing this. If your going for fun and plan on eating what you get, then great. Have fun, follow the rules and bring a camera.

Glass will spread the impact area a bit further, steel is very concentrated to one area only, even penetration of flesh. Steel is a much truer and one shot one kill possiblility, bettter range, no debris inside. Better way, so you don't lose your price gaming.
