Piracy will be there no matter what they do. At the end of the day Microsoft is a business they are there to make money thus they will try sell there product at the rate that will give them the highest profit just like any other business

well microsoft's cost to engineer those software is high so costs can't be decreased and microsoft has cutted the users hands and lessen learning capacity of users by feeding all their users,better to stop the microsoft monoply and move ourself towards open source,all those softwares are available online and one can use them ,go for google spreadsheets,all u need is just a gmail a/c and u can.
must try the online spreadsheet by google,u'll get where the world can be

Well, it's where they make most of their money.

The educational versions (available to students and teachers) are less than 1/3 the price- typically around $150 and contain the exact same programs.

Of course there's always Openoffice, which is your free open-source alternative that everyone can afford ;)

coz microsoft are A big company who broke up the software and put a big price on it all but not just microsoft put the big price tag on your pc store they put a big price tag on it Microsoft is a business and there windows system is verry good
