I have a buddy that's 4'9", and he started agressively working out at the age of 12. All his family members are normal height. Personally I think it does affect your height if you start working out at a early age. With that said, it shouldn't affect you too much if you work out moderately.

in one way it is going to impact your top - i'm a FTA3 and REPS qualified own coach so might provide you a sturdy answer as to why... in case you nonetheless practice your chest and don't stability your work out (ie: do chest/ pectoralis muscle yet no longer the opposing muscle team that's your trapezius and rhomboid muscle tissues) then you particularly will replace into kyphotic (around shouldered/ hunched over) using fact as you excersise your muscle tissues they regulate into tighter so for that reason your chest would be tight your back muscle tissues will replace into stretched (something stated as adaptive lengthening) which will recommend your posture will replace into kyphotic. jointly as excersising won't impact your actual top a foul posture could make you look shorter than you're (until you upward thrust up rapidly)
