I think it does sadden God.
The problem with much of organized religion is that the organization becomes more important than the religion.
No person can be forceably saved. God reaches out to all of us, but it's up to us to reach back.
Religion should help us do that. Often it does. Often it doesn't.
I wouldn't call it utter nonsense. That is too condemning a term. I think organized religion has its pitfalls, but it also has its strengths. It's up to us to determine what counts as repentance, obedience and faith, and it's up to us to learn how best to practice it.

God said, I am the Alpha and the Omega. All things come from God, and in the end, all things must return, eventually. This is also consistent with current Big Crunch theories by leading cosmic physicists such as Michio Kaku the author of string theory.
My question, is that if God is love, and all things come from God, What is there to fear?
Also, is it unwise to try to attribute a human emotion such as sadness to God.

Someone used the analogy of good parents whose kids turned out rotten and I think that's a good comparison. However with most parents no matter how bad their kids turn out they will still love them and believe that they can be good people. Now if God is the parent and the sinner is the child how does it figure that God will cast them down into hell forever with no chance of redemption if he claims to love them so much? A little condradictory don't you think? Here's another question, if God made you and you turned out to be a bad person wouldn't the blame let at the feet of the one who created you?

i agree that a lot of organized religion is utter nonsense, the Mormon's, church of Jesus Christ of later day saints, 7th day Adventist, Jehovah witnesses, and the crowd that follows the barking preacher, the hairy krishners, the moonies, followers of Jim Jones, and the followers of Charles Manson.. the free love religion to name a few, and those that pray to Mary to name a few, but God's love demands purity in the heart, but remember God's justice must precede his judgement...and his judgements are true and righteous . what saddens God is the rejection of HIS word and the acceptance of man's word in it's place.
after all God created man in his own image in the return man did the same... don't downsize God

definitely it must sadden God, especially after all the chances given - but in the end it will probably feel better getting rid of the dark hearts and souls, so the Light can shine full on the New Generation.

Great point, but look at this from a positive standpoint. Istead of saying, "This does not compute, therefore god is false." realize that because hell does not fit in with god's personality, you don't have to worry about it! God is love and he will judge fairly. He won't keep us alive eternally, just to make us suffer, when we only sinned a few years. That would be ultimate evil, somthing god is not capable of. If god and satan are enemies, would god seemingly be in league with satan, sending down sinners to satify his arch enemy's lust for torture. No that is stupid.
Bottom line: Hell does not exsist or fit in with a loving god. But that does does not mean god is false. It means a lot of people are wrong about god.

Your right, it does sadden God. He had given mankind one of the greatest gifts, besides life itself, in the form of Torah. A set of teachings that uplift people with proper morals and a way of life that is pleasing to Him. And yet so many turn away from Him and His ways. Yes God is love and life and joy - for those who abide by His Torah - but what of those who don't?
If God cries - then I think it's for those who refuse Him and His Torah.

He gives us time untill end of our life in this world and But behaving good and bad can not go to the same place and justice is one of the biggest good thing in universe Of course He does not like that a servant deserves hell thats why He is willing to forgive but if some one do bad things to your other servants and did not regret, HELL becomes very NECESSARY PLACE to exist All the best :)

I don't think it that way. It makes God so selfish and stupid to create billions of life only without much thinking throwing 3/4 of his creation to hell to suffer because religion dictates what's right from wrong. If I know my life would end in hell I'll BEG GOD TO SPARE ME FROM TAKING PART OF HIS CREATION. But of course God is not stupid. Our not so highly evolved mind yet is what making our perception God is stupid.

That's what I've always thought. If you live the christian life you will be happy for all eternity after you die. If you don't believe in God you will burn in a firey pit forever! Which do you choose? Seems like a logical fallacy to me. Can't there be any middle ground?
And so if I go to hell, will Adam and Eve be there? Surely Eve will be.
