There is probaly a reason why someone would put socks on their dogs paws. Maybe for protection from the elements like if the ground is too hot or too cold for their paws. Another reason is that if the dog has an injury on the paw the sock protects it from it getting further infected. But i do agree if people puts socks on for just the fasion then that is a dumb reason.

There are doggie socks to protect their paws - I bought some for my dog to protect his feet when I take him to a local outdoor auction - I've seen some broken glass on the ground there - but he refuses to wear them. But on the head? That's just idiotic.

You bet,I have seen dogs in socks and sweatshirts, and pants, and sweaters,and hats and caps,scarfs.It is ridiculous.They even got charm collars and you can add charms to them. There is magazine just for dressing your dog.I saw it at "Barnes and Nobles". I kid you-not!

Hey they have designer cologne for dogs! My dog laughs at dogs with hats and glasses.

yes there are dumb people like that.. i personally don't do that but i've seen it... people treat there pets as they were babies.. obviously there not.. but for some people this is as close as to having a baby as they will get.. and sometimes they forget that they are dogs.. and treat them as a human

i put boots on mine when thers damp cold snow or sharp ice.....saves pads and dogs feet
