Is there any pain worse than a tooth ache? in your opinion, if so "please" tell me what?

Eternal Love, this type of pain you`ve described certainly would be definitely one that excells most. My heart and Sympathy goes out to all who have suffered this type hurt and pain, or the loss of any child.

Red, I have 6 children, and I gave natural birth to 5 of them, without any type of help medication, but w/ the first they gave me a spinal. I still say even after suffering the natural pain of 5 babies, that the old killer toothache pain is man with a jack hammer in yo mouth, especially if the nerve is exposed ooooooooooh!!!!!!lololololol.

Surprised that nobody mentioned BURNS!

They are excruciatingly painful as the skin is the largest organ of the body and contains the most nerve endings.

Burns are not only painful, but can kill someone very easily (through shock). And you can't just 'get rid' of your skin like you can a tooth or kidney stones. With these you can just remove the problem and the pain disappears. With burns, the pain goes on and on and on.......

And then you've got to clean and dress the wounded skin everyday until it heals......spongebaths hurt like hell for burn victims, not to mention the skin graft removals and replacements.

first of all, asap contact a dentist or a doctor for a perscription tp be filled immediately. Do you happen to have any antibiotics in the house or perhaps a friend may have one. Even a spoonful from a liquid antibiotic would help. The pain is caued by an infection and the only way it will ease up is by attacking the infection. Which is basically what a dentist or doctor would do. But if you happen to have any antibiotic like say 2 pills and immediately swallow both. within 2 hours he sould start to feel some relief. Never drink alcohol! This will only intensify the pain. Then immediately in the morning call for a dentist by telling them the problem (infection) a perscription for antibiotics costing about $15 and a quick exam $25. Relief is only a few hours away!!

ohhhhhh let me tell ya a couple years ago, I had double inner ear infections for 2 1/2 weeks, now I have felt a lot of pain, but these real top the cake!

Oh wait I forgot just how bad my spinal tap hurt too hmmmmm well, I'm still gonna say ear infections because they lasted weeks and spinal only last 25 minutes.

Worse than a tooth ache? Yes. It was bad cramps and believe me they are worse than tooth aches. I am wearing braces and have to deal with tooth aces every day and I still think it's nothing compared to cramps!

Sure, there are lots of worse pains. But not while you have a toothache. I had one once, wanted to tear my teeth out or blow my head off, whichever was handier.

The trouble with a toothache, I think, is that you can't escape it. It is, as it were, in your face.

Yes, from bone surgery, if they had to cut your bone with a saw and put screws on it and your medication for pain wears off!!

Yes .. go through labor for 27 hours knowing that your child just past away. Then having to walk out of the ward without them, walking past the nursery and seeing all the happy relatives of their joy that has just arrived.
