omg...my little brother put a sock on my dogs head, and we cant get it off...its having trouble breathing..and we tried cutting it off, but the sock is thick...and the vet is closed around here..and we are home alone..we tried everything HELP

cut it, or try putting your hands around the end of the sock and trying to stretch it while the other pulls it off.... take a knife and pull it AWAY from the dogs head and start sawing sort of at the sock it will start to tear, be fast though... your dogs life is in your hands now

what a dumb @ss...even though the sock is thick u can still cut through it with a good pair of scissor. maybe u made this up or maybe u r just too stupid to cut open a stupid sock...dumb @ss

wet the dog's head and sock immediately. That should make it easier to take off. Use Warm water.

just roll it toward you... if it is a thick sock then it will roll easily... since you can't cut through it. just make sure cut a hole to make a passage way for your dog to breath.

you are going to have to sacrifice the dogs coat... use scissors to start the cut and tear open the sock...

if it went on, logic says it must then come off. and if scissors don't work, use garden shears, but for god sake don't hurt the poor thing. and the worst thing you can do, although you're upset, don't panic, it'll only upset the dog.

you need to just pull as hard as you can, if it doesnt work you need to find a way to cut it off, or at least place a slit in the mouth so he can breathe

you have to cut it off, don't hurt yourself but a pair of scissors should be good enough, try the scissors that come with the steak knife set.
