Define the term "judge"...the use in the Bible means can mean two complete things..one is to make a judgement of discernment...You see a hot pot of coffee and discern that is hot and so make a judgement not to touch it lest ye burn thy fingers.. then of course there is the judgement that we are urged not to make which is to "look" at someone and based on our pitiful lack of understanding decide a person is unworthy, doomed to parish or otherwise should be subject to scorn and ridicule. This a harshness that has nothing whatsoever in the furtherest stretch of the imagination to do with the "love thy neighbor". God being no particular respector of persons would expect us not to be either..after all just about every key player in Bible history rose from obscurity and was woefully imperfect in many ways...Except for Christ. So, there are no special anything for Christians...any Christian out there pointing fingers and accusing is more like Satan than Christ because Satan translated means "the one that stands in accusation". A faithful Christian that is truely touched by Gods good grace has a healed enough heart and mind to realize that we are flawed and we are all beautiful, but it is the heart and mind of man that will be judged..not his/her outward parts and that is a place inside each person none of us can go, except Christ, Love in Christ, ~J~

Our special privillege is only the fact that we confess our sins, repent and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
Our special privillege is to trample on serpents and scorpions and cast out demons in Jesus' name
The privillege of being cleansed from our sins to have an intimate relationship with God
The privillege of salvation through Jesus Christ.
These are just some of the privilleges, not all, and these are privilleges who can be enjoyed by all who call upon the Lord of Lords and King of Kings

But you are blinded, for no where is it stated that Christians are "judges".

The only judge is the ever living God. Scriptures say :

Genesis 31:53
May the God of Abraham and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge between us." So Jacob took an oath in the name of the Fear of his father Isaac.

Deuteronomy 32:36
The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free.

Even here, when He raised a judge, God was WITH the judge.

Judges 2:18
Whenever the LORD raised up a judge for them, he was with the judge and saved them out of the hands of their enemies as long as the judge lived; for the LORD had compassion on them as they groaned under those who oppressed and afflicted them.

Job 21:22
"Can anyone teach knowledge to God, since he judges even the highest?

Isaiah 33:22
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

and most importantly :

Romans 2:1
[ God's Righteous Judgment ] You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

So you see, Christians, and everyone else in the world, do not have what you claim the "privillege" to judge.

If you say that the Bible endorses it, please, show us the scriptures, or else, hold your peace and do not mislead others.

this could be painful to read but real christians follow what the bible teaches

Matthew 6 -Jesus said "how do you remove a speck of dust from your brothers eye, when you have a plank in your own eye? First remove the plank from your own eye, then you can see clearly for the speck of dust"

In modern english - If you have a plank say you molest children - we can judge you, for the little things, I won't judge you until I'm perfect - I could tell you when that is, but you don't want to listen

I hear a hint of judging in your question. I know many Christians that don't get all weird and judgmental. Though I have met some that do. Of course this makes them people in general.

a spirtual man judges all things, i think its in hebrews
but thats talking about things i decide i want in my walk not yours, including whether i want you in my company
other than that every sorry piece of flesh judges unjustly and we were told to not to judge but if we do then judge rightious judgement.if we judge fairly then we will be judged fairly
the priviledge comes from Gods holy spirit to those who recieve it
unfortunatly we christians rarely use it, sorry

I'm going to have to re-read the bible. I was totally unaware that anyone had the freedom to pass judgement.

I do not think Christian's have special privileges.

According to the bible you are NOT to judge anyone, for the judgement of men and women is to be the province of god, for only he in his eternal knowledge can be the judge of men. (dont get me wrong i dont support this religon but i agree with this ideal)

Christians have to judge right from wrong when they see it. That does not mean be hateful to any person for anything. But call sin, sin and call what is good, good.
