For christians: Do you organise or participate in any christian related things in your work place?

eg Bible study at lunch time and other smoko breaks.
praise and worship before work etc.
And if so, could you please give details. thanks, like how effective you think it is.
And what laws if any, do you have to be mindfull of. How it makes you feel etc

A christian friend of mine had organised lunch time bible studies. People have every right to discuss what they damm well like in their own time

-Mr. Mister- Maybe you should re read my question. I asked about 'your own time' and was asking people what types of things they get going. If I worked at you place and went to lunch and discussed religion, i would do it wether you like it or not. same as if i discussed politics. Maybe in your work place your employees are working through their lunch breaks, as you said, it is Your time. I was refering to their time. Many places of work have 'employees lunch time'. If you cant understand what you read properly, then im sure your business could be operated more efficiently with a class in communication skills.

hey.......Interesting question.

In my workplace? I own 3 companies. I just happen to run these companies my way. Burger King* style. :)

Laws? Yep, There are Laws. Am I careful? I haven't got where I'm at in life by being careless. You claim people can talk about what the damn well please?

snickerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :)

I would love you to work here and tell me that to my face :)

You my friend would be sharing your gospel in a unemployment line :)P You think not? hahahahah

Dude...I wasn't born yesterday. ok? Getting rid of a trouble maker is that of the MOST easiest of problems.

To answer your question. I let people do what they want. I in no way incite a personal matter on anyone, UNLESS, they ask me. Now, to make this more simple.....The people I hire, just happens to be Christians. wow, what a coincedence huh? Law? There is no law that says I have to hire anyone of any religion. :)P

BTW: YOU have NO "your" time working for me. I have PAID, lunch hours. You eat on MY time. :)

See, I know how to handle your kind. You are too easy.

Good Question.

My husband prays with a group of people before his shift begins. He also prays before his shift is over with those same people. Yes, he prays on the clock. Yes, he is getting paid while he prays. He finds it uplifting to know that there are other people working alongside him who are lifting up his name in prayer and worshipping God with him.

I think you can do what you want on your own time... and the only 'law' I know of is more like advice - work diligently - and that will work for anyone.
