it depends on what religion you believe in. i always say this, "people are born cynics, this is the reason why religion is such a hard thing to commit to. there is soooo many reasons NOT to believe but only one reason TO believe."

Well a true Prophet would reach out to the people no matter what part of the world he is born in, the important thing is reaching out to the people & spreading the message of God, not the region where he is born. And I think most of the Prophets have done that otherwise there wouldn't be so many Christians, Jews & Muslims all over the world.

You answered your own question in the last sentence. The traditions and mythology that laid the basis for the three main religions came out of that part of the world, therefore it makes sense that the prophets and the messiah stories would also take place in the same area.

According to Islam, God did send Prophets to the Aztecs, The Australians, the Mayans, the Chinese, etc. etc and to all tribes and all nations on this Earth. He sent a total of 144,000 prophets who spoke all of the languages of this Earth. It would not be fair of God to not let all people know about Him. However, human nature being what it is, most rejected their prophets and many were murdered!
God sent the last and final Messenger to Arabia as a Messenger until the end of time... that is Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Untill now God sent nearly 124 thousands of prophets In Quran it is said that God never make people responsible to believe unless He send a prophet to them So prophets was sent to africa and to india as well but with time the message they bring lost But in middle east prophets was also sent with books and those people change the message but continue to hold the message and tell it to next generations that's why it seems that they are the only people whom a prophet sent And the last edditon of the message was sent for all continents All the best :)

Absolutely. There is not a logical explanation for why God decided to concentrate his power and attention exclusively on the Middle East among a very small population of the world. I guess that everyone else who was alive at the time just had the bad luck to be born somewhere else without a fair shot at his "salvation message". Surely it would have been child's play for an omnipotent being to reveal itself to the entire world at once and save the missionaries a whole load of trouble.

he did we just haven't been told about them
In Islam there have been 124000 prophets we have only been told of 25 in the quran
Quran 040.078
"We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods.
Furthermore,
Quran 010.047
"To every people (was sent) a messenger: when their messenger comes (before them), the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. "
I presume the prevailing reason we don't hear about them is because of "writing" it is what has preserved the more 'recent' religions..others have been passed into mythology i guess.
I thnk constantinople had ordered that 16 bibles be published at some time.. Imagine as much as people don't know their religion, myself included, would be had it not been for what we have accessible.

Maybe you should take note of the fact that the words all of the prophets of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam could be the product of heat induced hallucinatory experiences--heat prostration would not be uncommon...scarce water in a desert environment....
Their "epiphany" might not have occured if they would have had Gator Aid........
A different point of view --just to play "the devil's advocate"

This story will start from the very beginning of the universe according to the bible. There were good people and bad people just at the start. Adam had two sons one was good one was bad. God always selected Good people for him. These through generations and generations came up to IBRAHIM, ISSAC and his Twelve Sons. God Loved Ibrahim a lot and made so many promises to him. One of them was that I will bless your generations. This promise was made only and only between God and Ibrahim. Ibrahim Promised that He will Obey GOD and God promised him that He will bless Him through generations.
Whenever the people of God went on the wrong way God send His prophets among them to guide and remind them that this is a promise to be and to remain the People of God.
God Selected the place which is now Israel, Lebanon, Palestine and this region for his people.
So it was obvious that God send his Prophets at that place and only among the blessed people of the Ibrahim's generation.

the prophets would be sent to people practicing the christian religion and not to a heathen nation ... these people would need evangelists not prophets... God sent prophets to the middle east because that's where his chosen people live who claim belief in God. Evangelists did not come about until about the time of Christ because they brought the good news of Christ to people.
