If you're a Sabbath-keeper, is it okay if your wife works on the Sabbath?

Exodus 20:8 "....in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, not thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates."

No. "Thou" refers to both men and women.

It says not to work, but depending on the work... I am a surgical tech. If someone needs emergency surgery (ie. gunshot, stabbing, abdominal aortic aneurysm...) and no one is working, they might die waiting until after the Sabbath. I suppose it's all about self justification. When I get called in on an emergency case on Sunday, I feel that saving the persons life is not considered breaking the Sabbath.

Someone mentioned in Sunday school, that if you take atleast one day of the week and keep it holy it should be alright, than that would be your Sabbath for the week. I don't know, but that sounds alright to me. The Sabbath in Bible times was on a Saturday, we go to church on Sundays now, don't we. I hope this helps and makes you think.

Your wife is also commanded here, directly (It's talking to her). It has to mention children, since young children weren't commanded, but their parents are.
