It's actually Exodus 20:9 that says that, and if you read the next verse it reads "but the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God:in it thou shalt not do any work..." It's just saying you can work all you want for the 6 days, but you need to set the seventh day aside for the Lord and doing his work!

What's up with you and the Sabbath? Are you having doubts about your sin or what, what is this? Every man falls short of the glory of God, everyone sins, if you sin one you've surely sinned them all, that is why He sent His only begotten Son to be crucified. I'm sure if someone doesn't labor they will be forgiven, He is a just God. I hope this helps and God bless.

The only requirement that Jesus set forth is that we take a sabbath, which translates to devoting one day a week to worshiping God and resting in his peace
