Yahoo! Messenger, so you can use all features of Yahoo! chat.

Go to Yahoo Chat Room, where you will find a list of topics on which you can chat. Select the topic of your interest and click.
A list of people in that particular chat room will be displayed.
You can invite some one for chat and if he accepts your invitation, you can start the chat
