my boyfriend recently made the statement that "we are seeing if we can stand the test of time"....anyone care to enlighten me as to exactly what that means? and how long is this 'test' going to last?
we are in a semi-long distance relationship, and i said that we need to try to see each other more often. we both have pretty messed up work schedules, so i understand that we can't be together ALL THE TIME, thats not what i want. all i'm asking for is a little bit of effort on his part. was i wrong in asking for that? we have talked about living together, and he is in the process of buying a house closer to me (not only for that reason). do you think i'm wasting my time?

Test of time, means whether your relation will be able to sustain the ups and downs of time.
Sometimes long distance relations fade simply because of lack of communication, misunderstanding and so on. Your bf is very wise to point out that let's see whether our relationship stands the test of time.
if both of you are sincere enough the relation will definitely stand the test of time.

Test of time means how long you can stay separated from eachother and still be inlove.

i dun tink so. to stand the test of time, means to make it thru to when u guys can settle down. if u can wait for him like this, u 2 can go thru anything.

You must allow him to be strong , in terms of financial gain and status , you will be happy if you have enough , so have patience , its pays greater dividends .
