First you have to Protect Document
Goto >> Tools >> Protection >> Protect Sheet or Entire Workbook
Then
Right Click on Cell >> Format >> Goto Protection Tab >> here select which one you want Locked and Hidden
But still you cant hide formulas, so I sugges instead, first make one backup copy for yourself, now copy the formula cell and then goto Edit >> Paste Special >> And select "Values" in Radio button, over

Look under Format --- Cells --- Protection
There are two check boxes for Locking and Hiding the cell contents.
After Locking or Hiding the cell contents, remember to protect the worksheet, or else it wont work

For locking cells :
From Tools click Protection and then Protect Sheets. It will open various options from which you can chose.
For hiding formula :
From Tools click Options and then 'View' and in 'Show' deselect 'Formula Bar'. This will remove Formula Bar.

Ok you do your thing on Excel. then you click on Tools, go to Protection, and protect workbook. Just remember that the protection password is case sensitive and if you forget it you're pretty much stuffed. Then save the changes
