It is a little stronger than what I precive the average American beer to be, I'm not sure on real beer though, as I live in America and rarely see it. You would drink it like an average/strong beer depending on where you are from. I'm more familiar with spirits, which are usually from 40-50% alcohol but I've had my share of beer too.

American beers are around 5%. many imports or microbrerws are stronger. Wine generaly starts around 6-7%. Light liquers around 20% and then the harder stuff around 40-50%. The strongest would be grain at 90% and it can make ya blind. The percentages can fool you though. Because even if run has 40%, when 1.5 oz is mixed with 6oz of mixer (ie coke), then the 8oz drink only has 8%. But the 12oz beer isn't diluted. So it all depends on use.

well put it this way if you got 5% its like the same equivalent as a beer so no its not to much alcohol at all

It is not a lot relative to many drinks - 5% is fairly average for beer or like a cooler, but less than liquor (eg, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.)
