dont worry im the same way i just want to hear it from someone else so i know im not the only one to feels like that...men are men you are not suppose to understand them and they arent suppose to understand us women thats the way it is....they are just jerks because thats really the only tihng they are good at expect for sex

I don't think all guys are jerks maybe there is something special you are looking for in a guy and also maybe you've been hurt I know what that feels like .some guys treat women really bad to the point even the married women would leave or cheat on their husband .Then you ask yourself what did i do for him to be such a jerk .Some men just love being that way they think they are full of power but sometimes they can lose something even better than power which is love or a good person in their life.sorry if i couldn't give you a good answer but it's just from experience.Or sometimes it's both sexes that suffer not just women

Jenny, Im a guy, I can help with your question....
lets start by comparing the 'guy before' and the 'guy after'
From the time a guy shows interest in you......to after you become a couple and spend lots of time together ... Im sure you find adifference between the two.
See once he has you he feels secure and feels that he doesnt need to do any more courting, you're a done deal. What you need to do is keep him on his feet.
plus guys have a tendency to look around since they think about sex every 11 seconds, so make sure his eyes are on you.
Go for the guy who acts himself from the very beginning.

That isn't really fair .. not all guys are complete jerks. You can not judge one person because of another actions and remember not every person is exactly have the same faults, backgrounds and believes. That is what makes the world so amazing, how we are all diverse. Try not to generalized and if one person really upset you .. just moved forward. You maybe surprised what is behind the next door..

That my dear girl is a generalization, that is unworthy of you. You cannot categorize "guys" that way. Could it be that the guys you know are not behaving in a manner that is pleasing to you. How do you decide who is a jerk and who is not. It would be interesting to learn of your criteria.
How would you describe a guy that is not a jerk in your opinion?
Maybe you would like to answer that one.
