ihe word wanna is a contraction of the hawaiian verb wantabeelee and the early english word naturaly. The contraction actually should be written as wan'na, and means 'want naturaly.' Usage would be, "I want naturally to go to bed." This could be shortened to "I wan'na go to bed." However, few Kinebeckians follow the mixture of hawaiian and early English terms and phrases. Most tend to adhere strictly to Websterians who have spelled this contraction as "want." In fact, 'want' is several letters shorter than 'wanna', and is therefore much preferred by those prone to lengthy dissertations and theme writing.

according to the rules of society, and the laws of slang, the word comes from the streets of compton in which a gangsta trying to say something, realized "want to" was too proper for a gangsta like him,he also saw regular people using these words and he concluded that gangsta's can't talk like regular people. Thus he decided to create the word wanna so he could be cool, gangsta and not talk like the "regulars." today many of us use this word as a tribute to the gangsta who died and left this word for the rest of the cool people to use and live gangsterly.
THE END!!..................
and the meaning of this word is want to, if you did not gather that from my story.
