What book did you use or find useful for writing great college admission essays

I'd say it's better to learn the key to successful essays and write them yourself. I have never seen book that didn't look to cheesy or too cliche. I had to study with a tutor specifically for essays, and it really helped.

I wouldn't recommend using any book for fear that you would model your essay after one of the examples. Just be yourself and edit the essay before submitting it. The key is having a coherent essay and one that is free of grammatical and spelling errors.
