Is it more likely for a male to spread the HIV virus to a female than a female spreading it to a male?

Also.. if I was having sexual-intercourse with a infected female.(hypothetically)
What are the chances of me catching the HIV virus if I just had unprocted anal sex with her? Or the odds

I know that if you have unprotected vaginal sex you have a good chance of catching the virus but what about anal?

It is pretty much the same both way, your chances of getting it with unprotected sex with a positive partner is really high. It doesn't really matter what type of sex you choose, any time body fluids are in contact with each other you can ger infected.

Your adds are about 1 in 7 of getting HIV through unprotected sex. For women it would be around 1 in 3.
With anal sex you have a higher chance of getting HIV because small tears in the anus and small tears on the penis transmit HIV much more easily.

Whatever you do don't ask the South African Minister of Health for information in HIV or AIDS, she'll tell you to eat garlic and stuff like that. Anyway the risk remains no matter whether its male to female or female to male. Its not worth the risk so don't count on chances.

the best thing to do is not too have unprotected sex period! anal or not. it can be contracted both ways at any given time. AIDS does not discriminate! and has no race creed or color and remember it only takes one time! know your sex partner! love yourself. if u hear of anyone who has the disease it's best to pray not lay with them. common sense is better than no sense at all. have you ever seen a person die of AIDS i have more than once its not a good sight. LOVE YOURSELF FIRST
