for the last couple of year's I've been trying to find out how to aquire military equipment for ststic display purpose's,for our little town,tried a congressman,the Govenor,Davis Mothen AFB,still no cleu,I see them else where,I see the stuff rotting away in desert boneyard's!We have several nice park's and a new museum,many retired military folk's and plenty of friend's and family currently in harm's way!?We also have plenty of voulenteer's to care for such a display.

I would recommend contacting the Commemerative (formerly Confederate) Air Force (CAF). This is a non-profit corporation that buys historical/warbird aircraft to be restored as flying museum pieces. http://www.commemorativeairforce.org/contact.html

I would also try the General Accounting Office, or the Air Force Public affairs. Any of these groups should be able to put you in contact with the "Boneyard".

i would contact a military base and see if they could help you out. my husband is based out of fort campbell

many of them have websites and you might be able to at least get pointed in the right direction.

good luck with that. seirously it would have to be somthing that is " decommisioned" meaning it can't be used for any other purpose but pretty much viewing purposes.

Talk to your town councilman...if they can talk to a local military base and get them to give you one...go for it.

Other than that...

I'm clueless.
