Don't blame him, he is just following the teachings of his church.
He even thinks Catholics are not Christians nor the Jehovah Witnesses are.
He thinks the writer of Harry Potter is possessed by evil spirits.

What makes you think he knows anything about Hinduism either? He is not tragetting Islam alone.
But he is not the only one. I am bored too, with posts, by non Hindus , (including Muslims) pretending to know about it and quoting their own respective proselytising sites!
There is a Zakir Naik who knows all about it...........
Anyway this trend is too common. Funny thing is that everybody notices when hate , misinformation is about their own beliefs , yet do not miss a chance to post the same about others.

Maybe if you are a believer his job is to make you question and then find strength in your answers. If you are not he makes you investigate further and opens a few doors of understanding.
Remember knowledge does not equate with understanding,nor does it make anyone a good teacher ( which I am guessing he sees as part of his role in life).
