personally i think it gains a very acceptable flavour over night.. the minty-ness increases in the centre whilst sugar forms on the damp outer, no doubt developing a healthy coating of bacteria on the exposed surface.. on the bed side it absorbs a delicious oakie flavour, in some cases tinged with a sharp tang from the varnish.......
chewed as soon as you wake, with your first doobie, it makes a perfect start to any day whilst awaiting the first cuppa...
